What are the differences between jigging coal washing machines and other products

To understand a product, the first step is to understand its working principle. The same applies to jigging coal washing machines. It is layered based on the specific gravity of minerals, with light and heavy minerals sorted into different levels for discharge. Jig beneficiation has a history of over 400 years. This is a relatively old method. The mechanical transmission of jigs has a history of over 100 years since its invention. Due to its working principle being based on the specific gravity of minerals, jigs are very effective in separating ores with large differences in specific gravity. Even now, jigging beneficiation is still the main method for this type of ore.

Jig beneficiation belongs to gravity beneficiation and is one of the main methods of gravity beneficiation. The gravity separation of coarse, medium, and fine-grained ores mainly relies on jigging. Specifically, the working principle of a jigging machine is to separate ore particles with different densities in a vertically moving medium according to their respective densities. There are many factors that affect the effectiveness of partitioning, among which the particle size and shape of the ore particles are two of them. The result of jigging beneficiation is that mineral particles with different densities occupy different positions in height, while mineral particles with higher densities are located in the lower layer, which is the heavy product (concentrate). Mineral particles with lower density are located in the upper layer, which is the light product (tailings). During the beneficiation process of the jigging coal washing machine, raw materials are continuously fed into the jigging machine, while heavy and light products are continuously discharged, forming a continuous jigging beneficiation process.

Jigging machines can be applied to many mineral sorting fields, such as the sorting of weakly magnetic minerals such as hematite, limonite, manganese ore, as well as the sorting of metal minerals such as placer gold, tungsten ore, tin ore, antimony ore, lead ore, and non-metallic minerals such as barite, fluorite, and lapis lazuli, with good sorting results.
